Need a zero option. I print at work because home printers are far more trouble than they are worth.

3. One in my office and one in his and one that we got really cheap on Black Friday in the closet as a backup. Only one of the 2 in use can print from our Touchpads. That's why we have that one.

1. I got rid of my wired printer (Gave it away) and got a wireless printer with a flatbed scanner on top of it. I just bought 10 ink cartridges for it too for <$9. (2 YCM, 2 small black, 2 large black) So... I'm keeping it for quite a few more years. I think it's inkjet. So, whatever. I know it's not as efficient in some regards, but ... go fuck yourself.

2, a color AIO ink jet (canon) and a laser (brother).

ink is like 1$ per cartridge and toner is like $13.

Why is there no option for zero? I have to print something maybe once a month, in which case I either do it at work or in the self serve area at Kinko's for 10 cents with a credit card so I never have to talk to an employee.

Never dealing with printers again.

I have one multi function printer. I use it MAYBE once a month. I don't do much printing as I'm pretty much paperless here but for the odd occasion where I do need to print it's nice to have. It still has the original toner cartridge in it from when I bought it. Sadly they'll probably stop making cartridges for this model by the time I need to change it.

1 - work from home and need it (rarely). Sometimes used to print coupons. ;) Think I've used it to scan/fax more than print.

ITT: a lot of unexplained printer hate...

We have a nice (but older) networked Dell Color Laser and a newer wireless Epson AIO that is Airprint-compatible. We also have an older Canon inkjet that we used to use for photo printing but I don't think it's been used in a couple of years so I'm sure the ink is bad.

The laser has been a fantastic printer except for the first couple of months. I went through 2 replacement drums due to toner streaking before it finally started working right. Since then I haven't even had to replace toner yet...it's had a "low black toner" message for a couple of years but keeps chugging along anyway.
