I have had no problems...it seems those that have RMA'd keep having problems.

My money is on user error.

ASUS does have a divider problem however, all the problems I have seen are overclock related. There is a new BIOS coming out soon that will resolve all of this.

This is bleeding edge stuff....you will have problems if you are doing stuff that is outside design until the drivers/bios/etc mature.

I had to rma a a8n-sli from ZZF. The speach reporter would do nothing w/ just the cpu plugged in. I already checked the cpu on my DFI mobo, it was fine...

alkemyst, is the check in the mail ??

Jose

I heard elsewhere about a new BIOS coming out for the ASUS that fixes the 1T command at 250 issue, so he is not bluffing.

There were alot of the K & C errors with this board when it first came out. I haven't had a problem with any of the ten I built and sent out. That keyboard and chair error counted for a great many of the early rma's. :D

Supposedly, the BIOS version that will fix that will be version 1007? I remember hearing that somewhere...

Well if that is true, then we are in for a bit of a wait since the most recent beta I know of is 1005-005. And that's not even available on ASUS website that I could find. It was on a German Asus FTP site. The most recent one I found on the website was only 1005-003 beta.

blustori,

Did you write down the serial # of your mobo, just to make sure they don't send you back the same mobo ? I'm sending mine right now.

Jose

Im on my 3rd board, things starting to clear up, and problems seem to vanish one by one.... after 2½ months of waiting and agonizing....
Asus used us as beta-testers, and now they are releasing the new rev. of the board along with the premium edition (whatever that means - cant just be the same with out the Sli-card, can it????).... after 3 months with a new board.... this usally takes ½-1 year

From what I've seen. So many threads about problems dealing with it. I'm probably going to get a DFI or MSI like I originally planned.
