How many power leads in Enermax 431??

Does anyone know how many power slots there are in the Enermax 431??? I have 5 case fans, and I wanted to know if I would have to buy a y cable

I believe there are seven normal power leads and a few of the floppy type leads. The cords are really long though so if you have a small case then you might have trouble finding room for all the excess cable. It is wrapped nicely though. 🙂

Well I can say this for sure... I can't hear it over the whine of my Delta CPU fan! 😀

Actually I think it is rather quiet and that is remarkable considering it has two fans spinning away on it.

It's quiet.

It's not silent, but it's one of the quietest PSUs in that power rating range you'll find.

And FYI, the only "Whisper" quiet is the 350 watt version.

The 430 and 550s are not whispers.

But my 430 is quieter than my 26CFM YS Tech, which admittedly isn't all that quiet, at about 33dbA.
I think that the PC2002 specs or whatever for noise emissions state 27, and the 430 watt can't be much above that.

Personally I consider quiet down around 22dbA...but then I'm trying to make a PC with a single 16dbA fan...so I'm a little nuts when it comes to quiet.

And there are 8 4pin molexes and 1 4pin floppy connector, along with 1 20pin ATX, 1 4pin ATX12v and 1 6pin AUX Server.
