Backstory -

I met a lady playing Facebook poker on December 1st, and added her as a friend. Out of my 45 poker buddies, I only friended four of them over the last year.

On December 11th, she sent a Christmas card over Facebook. I was reluctant to install the ap and only did so 3 days later. I had intended to send one back, but I hadnt got to it.

Today I set out to reply to her Christmas greeting. I went to her Facebook page and found out that her and 8 year old son were killed by a wrong way driver on the freeway on Saturday, December 17th.

Besides being shocked and saddened to learn of this, someone with my same last name left her condolences. I have an unusual last name and there are only about 12900 of us in the US.

It is a small world.
