I grew some thick skin, but remember trying to block one or two on fusetalk. Of course it didn't work. (does anything on fusetalk?)
 
If you mean use the ignore feature, my answer is none. If you mean skip over their posts and ignore them, that's another answer.

They never contribute anything useful and usually just make me mad. Of course, their comments are often so inflammatory that other people quote them, which doesnt help.
 
I have a bunch of people blocked. I usually still read their posts, but its so I know "ok, this person is a moron, expect stupidity"

I don't block anyone myself.
 
0. blocking someone in no way affects the person i'd wish to block. if there was some sort of feedback, like electrocution or a three stooges-style eye poke, then i jump in it.
 
Just counted them up and I have 30. I started using it a while ago. I think some of them were from P&N but then I realized it's dumb to block people from P&N since that entire forum is a giant troll anyway.

There are only a few I block who post in OT, mostly trolls/assholes. Several of them ended up getting banned not long after I blocked them so I guess I chose wisely.

It can be fun, everybody knows this. I have a buncha dudes blocked, TFP's one and a few members have PM'ed me posts of mine hs's responded to. Ones in which he said "I know you have me blocked and can't see this..." but goes on to respond to me.

Blocking's a great feature, I had a programming friend who wrote me some sort of FF script that blocks me from seeing what they say even if it's quoted in another users reply.
 
Only weak minded fools use the ignore feature. These are the types of people who are completely incapable of any form of self control, and thus, must rely on software to do what normal people can do on their own. To put it simply, they are intellectually inferior. Everyone knows this.
 
None. The people I hate the most I get to laugh at the most. Even theflyingpig can generate howls of derisive laughter. Everyone knows this.
 
None. I might have to point out their stupidity on a day when they are being particularly stupid and nobody else has stepped up to the plate.
 
Seven at the moment.

At any given time, 3 or 4 are usually banned so there is no real benefit to me. I find the vast overwhelming majority of people's posts here interesting from one perspective or another but there are a very small minority that are either so immature, make nothing but flame or troll posts, or are just pure imbeciles that I've found that my life here is just that more pleasant with them on ignore.

I ignore folks like this in real life too, so I'm consistent in this regard.

I'm one of those people that post in P&N and the majority of them on my list are active in that Forum. I've got one individual on ignore that posted so much garbage in The Garage forum that they were banned from there permanently. So, I personally don't feel that my reactions to at least some of these folks is over the top.

I actually feel sorry for the mods because they can't ignore anyone. I'm pretty certain there's at least one or two that wish they could ignore me.

No you don't. You know how I know this? It's because you rely on software to do what your brain can do on its own. It's a simple thing to just not read a post, but you have proven that you can't do it, and if you can't ignore someone on this forum, then there's no way you can muster the willpower it takes to ignore someone in real life. You've been exposed, boomerang. You've been exposed. Everyone knows this.
