How many people are tracking this package?

I have a USPS package to track, so I google for the tracking website. Instead of taking me to the standard tracking website, it takes me to a specific package.

The tracking number is EE466057386CN, and it shipped from China to San Diego over a year ago.

How many people have to be tracking a package for google to put it as one of the first results?

And I don't live in San Diego so this isn't something out of my web history.

it knows what you are tracking because of cookies and it algorithm placed it at the top when you searched for it again

I get the same results on ingonito mode using a school computer, so it's not just me.

But it's interesting that you don't get it. Are you searching for "USPS tracking" and clicking the second link under the first one? The "Track & Confirm" one.

I do get that if I follow your instructions...though I had to momentarily switch away from Bing to Google to get something that messed up

If you noticed, the link right below that (USPS.com or Track) is linking to a specific item as well (a different one).

Or Google knows it's a tracking # for USPS, and has a feature to do an automatic search for it on the USPS tracking knowing that many people would just put in a tracking number...

Or it was in your cache so the preview showed your cached file.
