How many peeps here were band nerds in high school?

I played trumpet in middle school, and for 1 semester in high school. Translation: 1 semester is the minimum ammount of time that I could spend with that crazy b!tch and her lousy band by law and have it count as my fine arts credit.

i played trumpet myself for 10 years. quit about 2 years ago though. i was actually pretty good too.

I was a huge band nerd in high school. I did it all, marching band in the fall, concert band in the spring, jazz band in the winter, pit orchestra for the spring musical, district music contest the two years I was eligible, All-State, basketball and football pep band. If there was a band event, I was there. I kind of had to be, though. I was one of the top three trumpets out of like 40 or so, so the director basically expected at least two of the three of us to be at everything so there was actually some trumpet sound. Hehehe.

Trumpet for me...kinda complained about it while i was in High School...but I dont regret it at all when I look back now...

I played Clarinet in 5th and 6th grade and played the Bass Clarinet in 7th grade. I would have stuck with it, but from 8th to graduation I went to a private school and we didn't have any classes like that.

I played the saxaphone back in middle school but I quit when I realized that I hated it. Now I spin on my tables and have much more fun
