I was, i admit it... But i had some awesome times with it and dont regret one minute of it...

We got to play in the Rose Bowl parade, the Fiesta Bowl parade, and a crapload of other ones...

Oh yea, im a trumpet player going on 11 years now 😀
 
Was in band, played trumpet and loved every minute of it. I was also on the football and baseball teams as well. Can't really say I was a nerd, just had friends from all across the social spectrum.
 
I was a trumpet player for ONE year, I did it all through middle school. Got a girlfriend who was a flutest 😀 she had good lips 😉
 
I was in orchestra; played the violin, piano, and a bit of cello (still play). I wouldn't say I was a "band nerd", although I wouldn't at all be offended if I were applied such a label. In my school, you were more respected if you were talented/smart.

I've never played in instruement so don't go to band.

and absolutely no regrets--it was fun as hell and we got to go on some cool trips. We'd usually get in trouble doing something we shouldn't while on the trip, but hey, that's what makes them memorable. 🙂

i was in the band as first chair alto sax. it was fun, 'though the band director thought he had to be like a marine core drill instructor.

I meant the (still play) for violin, piano, and cello. I don't get to play much cello anymore because I don't currently own one 🙂(), so I primarily play piano and violin. I play cello vicariously through Yo-Yo Ma 😀

 
had a blast playing trombone in the jazz band. highlight of my high school life was going on tour along with the show choir to palawan for a week. 😀
 
Cello player here... I was an all out music dork, I was in band, chorus, swing choir, select choir, honor choir, jazz band, marching band, musicals and shows. I loved it all, and wish that I still had the time to do it while I'm in university, but that just isn't happening. Some of my best memories come from those years of my life, and the fact that it was 90% female didn't hurt either😉
 
i was... played the baritone / euphonium. only stopped playing in college because electrical engineering curriculum is killin me as it is.
