8 I own 5 (ok so only 3 if you don't count the 2 pentium 100's in the basement), and my housemates each have one.

5 working desktops, 1 laptop, 2 functional desktops gathering dust, and 1 desktop disassembled. I probably have enough spare parts laying around to build several more.

I like to make fun of my neighbors who have more cars than drivers.

Great poll :p

They should maybe enable a feature on the forums so people can create them. That'd be neat huh?

5 in the apartment including my work laptop

Lesseee here...

My machine
The wife's machine
The email/web/ftp/file server/domain controller
The ISA server
The old gaming machine that was put to pasture but still connected and powers up
The laptop

And then the old computer running Win95 that I rarely use to program PIC chips because the software won't run under NT based OSes.

So, total of seven, but realistically six.

2, that are actually used. I probably have like 5 or so that would work if i cared to hook a monitor up to them.

7 computers.

1 is an HTPC running myth
2 is my wife's
3 is my son's
4 is my work laptop
5 is my computer
6 is our router/proxy server/keep my son off of bad sites computer
7 is a project machine which I'm wiring the house's controls to slowly.

#6 and 7 are diskless and running off of low drain via chipsets. They both boot from a compact flash card.

#3 my son's is a dual pentium III 1 gigahertz with a Geforce 2 GTS card in it running the most badass games from 4 years ago (hehe) I have a timer set on the power outlet so that it can only draw power for 2 hours and 5 minutes a day. An alarm rings at 2hours and he shuts it down.

#1 is a pentium II 667 with dual 200 gig harddrives
#2 is a Sempron 3100 with a gig of ram and a geforce 6200 with an 80 gig harddrive
#5 is a socket 754 2800 winchester with 2 gigs of ram and a 300 gig harddrive
#4 is a crappy laptop that I use for powerpoints. Like a pentium 233 with 64 megs of ram or something
