are addicted to Final Fantasy XII?

It is by far, the best RPG that I've played so far.

In my opinion, it beats Final Fantasy X (which was a damn damn good game)

Played 45 hours so far, getting all my characters to level 30.

I don't like it. I mean I DO, but I just can't grasp the wonky battle system. I've played it for 25+ hours and I just cant get anything done that involves fighting. It seems in their effort to make combat require less attention, I find I have to micromanage more than ever before.

Also cant STAND the license system. Every tiem I want to buy something, I have to exit the seller's window, open the license window to see if I'm licensed, close the license window, then talk to the seller again to buy the thing. There must be an easier way?!?

just got FFIII for the DS and it is pretty good.

Played FFI, FFII, FFIII, FFIV, FFVII, FFVIII,FIX,FX, FX-2, and FXII

FFVII isn't bad, but I wouldn't necessarily call it the best

dude, fighting is simple, just used gambit

of all my six characters, i have two groups. two leaders. 2 followers

1st rule of gambit, hp < 70, cura
2nd rule of gambit, leader's target, attack
3rd rule of gambit, self < protect
4rd rule of gambit, self < shell

still working on others.

I bought XII on launch day, and I have stopped playing it. I just cannot seem to get into it. I am about 20 hours into it, but I find I can't play it for more than an hour or so at a time. FFVI and FFX I couldn't wait to get back into.

XII looks excellent. Characters move like people. Their eyes, amazing. The music, great. The game is just not fun to me. I really want to like it
