nope. don't use em. Norton and Mcafee somethin' inevitably screw up my computer. I don't really download many executables and I don't use outlook.

Going online without AV protection is as dangerous for your system as unprotected sex is for your bod. Always practice safe hex!

Symantec Corporate Edition 8.0. I also deploy it to 150 other computers. (Yes, its all licensed.)

I made the mistake of setting up a server at home without it. I finished setup at about 10pm, got up in the morning (6ish) and it was running horribly. I ran AVG's free scanner, and I already had nimda.

I had to download a specific program to isolate the virus before cleaning the pc. Formatting wasn't an option because I had some really important programs on there and besides, viruses can infect the bios sometimes too and even a format won't do the trick. Finally got the damn thing cleaned off, been running Norton's Antivirus since and it has saved me many times.

Well, they won't infect your BIOS probably, but they sure as hell target your boot sector - which sucks.

Norton AV 2003 here - it's great! Works like a charm, but fails to detect any viruses. I'm not sure there aren't any. It just lets them go through :(

Sounds like me, except for the whole server thing. And I deploy it to less people. Great app!
