How many of you people here own dreamcasts? Backup Info Needed

I do and want to learn about creating backups of the originals that I have.

Anyone care to share some info?

You'd be better off finding a copy online to download and archive.

To read the gd-rom requirs either a modified firmware of a yamaha burner I think or a serial connection hack to the computer (slow). AFAIK anyway, I've been out of touch with DC development.

Yeah, I don't think it works that way anymore.

You see that "Serial" port on the back of your Dreamcast? That's what you use. You can build your own connector to connect that to a standard 9 pin serial port (24 hours to rip a game), or you can use a broadband adaptor to extract games (fast). More info:
