I can barely communicate in english. No other language is even slightly possible. I suffer from a common north american condition of headupass's syndrome when it comes to looking outside of our geographic area.

I live alone, but when I'm with my parents and most family, I speak French.

Oddly, I speak English to my cat, even when I lived at my parents we spoke English to her. Now she does not really understand French, but she does seem to know what when I say tabarnac, I'm not happy. :D

At work it's mostly English, but depending who's on shift, everything turns to French. It's kind of funny.

BTW, all you people who speak Chinese, Japanese, Spanish etc. (everything other than English basically), is your vocabulary in these languages as extensive as in English?

I mean, I just don't know how to say words like 'abstract', 'extrapolate', 'arbitrary', 'euthanasia' etc. in any language other than English.

I'm danish so obviously danish is my native language, but my english vocabulary is just as extensive as my danish one (when it comes to technical terms I much prefer english though).

translating 'abstract' and 'extrapolate' into danish isn't very hard since they are 'abstrakt' and 'extrapolere'... many words are quite similar, it's the danish grammar and pronunciation that'll get you.

I only speak English, but my wife is teaching my daughter to speak Polish at home, so I guess I'm going to have to learn it too.

Which one of these things just doesn't belong
Can you tell me which of these things is not like the other
