As long as you have a webhost of some kind, even I can walk you through installing and using phpBB. ;)

(that's pretty damn easy)

I got a special when I signed up, so I got a 5Gig limit, and I usually stay under it. The only reason I get close is because this link is getting passed all around the place. Somebody here ended up getting an email from someone in his Counter Strike clan, who had no affiliation with Anandtech, with the link to my site :D My site gets around 2500 hits per day.

nik,

1) How do you convert 2825274 bytes to MB? Do you divide it by 8000?
2) Which Dixiesys.com hosting package do you have? Did you buy it at regular price or during their 2 for 1 sale?

I haven't touched my site since August 4, 2002 and god knows when my last forum post was. Stupid EA Sports, I used to get 3 - 5 thousand hits and 500 uniques daily. That was when the game was popular...

i did until i requested to move from a Plesk server to an Ensim server.. since Invision is going to release v1.1 (currently 1.01), decided to just want and do a clean install when it's released.

I run Fusetalk also... but it runs on MS Access (just to play with)... so it's deadly slow. Seek if you wish...

Actually, 1 MB = 1,024 KB, 1 KB = 1,024 bytes, so 1MB = 1,048,576 bytes, unless it is a hard drive.

I have a set of forums set up, but they are just for a fantasy hockey league that I run, not open to the public. I used iKonboard which was pretty painless (the install did not untar 1 file during the process, but that was easily corrected).
