How many of you have cheated on their significant other?

I think there should be an option for yes .....without "I have no shame"

after all shame is relative 😉

i think its more than kissing.
and conversly, i think it can be done with less acts actually happening between two other parties.

i think that if your truly interested in someone else it can be worse than cheating. spending moments that one would normally spend with a signifigant other can be just as destructive to a relationship.

i dont know, i've cheated on almost every single girlfriend i ever had and it was usually nothing more than one kiss that acutally defines the cheating as happened. but, looking back, its all the stuff that led up to the kiss that really destroyed the relationship i was in. (i mean, really, it was me who destoryed the relationship) but i think cheating is relativly obvious if you have or not

theres no need for a definition.

Haven't cheated yet... with any definition of cheating. Don't plan to either. If you have a significant other and they truly ARE a significant other, there really shouldn't be a need to cheat.

I use to cheat on my old girlfriends....but what goes around comes around...and when it happens to you, with the one you "think" is the one. Well you get what you deserve....

I have never cheated on my wife and I never cheated on her while we were just dating...I love her always and I can never see myself living without her in my life...so I will never do anything to jeapordize that....

wait does d/l, hiding and watching pr0n count? 🙁

I've had some guys who made a move on me, but I can say I've been pretty loyal, by stating forefront that I'm attached 😉

I shamefully must say yes....it is a most terrible and dispicable thing to do and I must live with the guilt forever. I am a horrible person and a lousy husband. god save me.

To me, cheating is defined as actions or words from a person in a relationship to someone outside the relationship that have romantic denotations or connotations. And I take a very strict stance against any kind of cheating. One girl I was dating recently for a while told me, after things were going a bit shaky, that she had dated two other people while dating me. I told her that our relationship was finished, and there were no second chances, as I had made that clear to her my stance on cheating when we had started the relationship. I will definitely forgive, but I will not forget and I will make sure it never happens again by removing myself from that relationship immediately and permanently.

Haven't yet...God, help me, I hope I never do.

BTW, I cannot judge or condemn anyone who has...my wife is wonderful, a real beauty and 110% intellectually stimulating...she's got it all. But even so, I've been tempted before so bad it scared the crap out of me.

The best thing to do in those situations if you have your wits about you, I found, is to literally turn and run away. I did that the last time, and it worked...I said nothing, just set down my drink (a coke) and bolted for the door. Bitch didn't even care that I was wearing a wedding ring.

I fell sorry for my wife, she gets hit on all the time...some of the dudes don't even care that she is married.

Some guy hit on my wife right in front me, one time. I dunno if he thought I was her brother or just a friend, or maybe he thought I was her boyfriend or husband even but thought, "what the hell". I punched that guy right in his grill.😀 Try hitting on my wife with a bloody nose!

I grew up in a family made up almost entirly of Marines..... needless to say, loyalty is something I've grown to value highly, and somehting I practice myself, no exceptions

<< Cheating is good for the gene pool, yet bad for relationships. A pity. >>

Unchecked cheating would also cause a rampant explosion in VD. Not such a pity.

<< No, but my last girlfriend cheated on me and now she is 8 months pregnant. Life sucks, doesn't it? 🙁 >>

is it yours???:Q

Never have, never will... what's the point of cheating? I mean if you really want to be with someone else at least have the decency to break up with/divorce/whatever the person you're with first, never understood that.😕

Anthropologically, the chaos created in a society by such a scenario would not fair well for "the gene pool". Unless of course you view the Bonobo monkeys and their structure as somehow superior or inferior to the human one.

Cheers ! 🙂

Then it's not cheating, is it? It's dumping/divorcing/whatever.
