Pretty much 3x a week sometimes more. I have 3 boats on 2 slips and the Nitro I can drag around to the other lakes. I fish a lot and sometimes people join me but I have just as much fun alone. I don't do to water sports too old and I'll break shit but my kids love it.

WTF would I go to some stank, stagnant lake. I have the Atlantic Ocean nearby, and a bit of a drive away is the Gulf of Mexico.

oh but pretty soon it might be ruined by the oil.

Fuck you BP. Fuck you.

Many lakes are not stagnant, but rather, are spring fed and are teaming with all kinds of wildlife. Places like Tablerock lake in Missouri are awesome because the water is clear enough to see down really far.

In-laws own a cabin on a lake. I love being outdoors and near water, but I can't stand going to there. The epitome of "stagnant", and the cabin is actually a tent that happens to be made out of wood.

I live on a lake so I go there pretty often. Sadly though, this lake is public and is gaining quite a party reputation. Which means its pretty busy on weekends, but mornings, evenings, and all week long its almost empty.

Hmm, Bang's like is a couple hundred feet from my house, but I don't have lake rights.

That said, I can walk to the park if I wanted to fish, or I can walk to the beach/marina.

It's a small lake though, only like 2 or 3 square miles.

When my mom and aunt and uncles were kids my grandparents used to take them to Bangs lake for weekend trips.

Got the longitude and latitude?

This way I can send a email over to google to swing over a satellite to take some pics for their google maps. :awe:

I used to post the real time coordinates but found out that is a no-no.

Dumb terrorists. They need to breed more jackasses and have them sit on their faces. :D

How big is the engine on that thing? My 28' pontoon (with all of 90hp) is lucky to hit 20mph.

200 hp Evinrude E-Tec

We have a 28 foot long 10 foot wide triple tube Premier with a 275hp super charged outboard merc. It can do about 40mph empty. Pretty funny seeing that big a pontoon go that fast :D

Yea, its epic to pass people that think they have badass speedboats. For a while we were looking at getting a premier with a merc outboard. We decided to go with the South Bay and an E-tec, no need for a 4 stroker.

Grew up on Lake Mendocino in California. <3

Moved away and now am surrounded by Seattle's lakes but I don't tend to go out on or in them much. Working on getting back to Lake Mendo.
