I'm not a dancer, though I also was in a ballroom dance course - phys ed credit requirements.

That's about all the semi-voluntary dancing I've ever done.

Also to all you people saying that no music makes you wanna get up a dance.....have you ever listened to music at all??? Ever been to a club?

Lol, since when am I too afraid to talk to women? I talk to them all--- the time... Whenever I am at college I talk to them, and at the dances.

It's a dance that has other people at it for the purpose of dancing for fun in a social environment. It's not like a dance class, or dancing by yourself... It's like paying $6 and getting to dance with other people for a few hours and maybe meet your friends there too.

EDIT: I don't really consider "clubbing" going out and dancing. It's just people randomly moving their bodies in a big pile. Dancing has form... It's also less orientated on the getting drunk, high, and laid. (At least from the dances I have been going to)

I go swing dancing off an on... at least once a month but up to twice a week when I'm taking lessons.

Despite what others say, at LEAST 75% of them time there were more guys than girls at swing dances.

I've been going to swing dance once per week since last August, and have taken a couple formal classes as well. It's pretty fun.
