trader joe == expensive organic crap that is a total scam
I'm sorry, you are incorrect. There is more to TJ than just organic food, in fact it is a very small element of what they sell. Most of what they sell is just healthier unorganic food, without preservatives and additives at cheaper prices.

So if you want to eat dried fruits with sulfites go right ahead, I prefer not to. One thing has nothing to do with the other.

you can actually get stuff CHEAPER at trader joes??

I like that they carry diff stuff from other countries, but in general they are more expensive

simple proof: compare the price of regular fruit vs organic fruit that they charge

Yes, in some cases TJ's is cheaper, but I meant cheaper than the traditional health food stores.

I buy bananas at my local TJ's for $.19/ea, which is ~$.49/lb. The lowest price in my area. Other produce is similarly priced.

Some days I go to crap, but most of the time I eat sensible amounts of food with the odd indulgence.

Hopefully, you'll chase that food down with a nice glass of cold water and a Lipitor tablet. :Q

If you live on the dorms, try buying a meal plan from the dorms so you can eat at the dining commons or cafeteria. You don't have to eat there everyday or every meal, but atleast it'll open up your options. And the food there might be healthier than getting food outside.

Besides that, I find drinking alot of water, preferbly cold from the refrigerator is good for the body.

And finally, fruits. Can't say that enough. Oranges, apples, banannas. You eat atleast ONE of these a day, and you'll feel good.

And you can still go eat outside too. Mix it up. Eat lunch at the dining commons, maybe a sandwich. Eat a bananna between lunch and dinner. Go OUT to dinner. After dinner, eat an apple or orange. I always like to get some fruit after dinner.

Somebody suggested vitamins in this thread and i recommend that too. That would be a quick way.
