I worked a full shift. If I got laid off, nobody bothered to tell me about it. Azraele, sorry to hear about it, good luck!

What really sucked was that I was told yesterday and forbidden to tell any of our employees. So they're all wishing me a happy new year, and I knew that none of us would have a job after today (they laid the whole facility off..."until things pick up").

I just got home. It is raining and cold and wet and miserable. No firework, no outdoor celebration, no pay raise this year or next year. What a crappy year. 🙁

Hopefully, 2010 will be a better year for me and all of ATOTers, especially the ones with no job.

Got stuck for 40 minutes in NYC traffic (upper level of 59th St. bridge was not salted yet so had to wait to enter the lower level). Got a fucking parking ticket too, BOO!!! Bah, home now and stuffed with food, thank goodness.

I was in this lab until about 12:30 last night (got onsite at 10am), got home around 1:30 this morning, and I'm back again this morning. Got here at about 9:30 but I hope to be out of there by noon, if things go as the should. Luckily they have free wi-fi while I wait for the tests to finish.

The tests all passed just fine and I got home around 1:30 this afternoon, snuck in a 45 min nap and then got called out again at 3:30. After a lot of driving in rainy seattle new years eve traffic and a short stint at the jobsite, I got home around 8:00 and picked up some takeout on the way.
