I've built them for years, but the Dell in my sig is better than anything I could've built from parts for the same money (though I bought the drives and RAM from newegg). It's well designed, it looks great, it's quiet and very fast. You can't overclock it, but honestly this system is massive overkill for 90% of my needs anyway. And they threw in an extremely good 1905fp monitor as well.

Their mid-level servers are damned fine units.

I have a little Inspiron 700m on order, also very cheap for a Pentium M ultralight.

Plus they've started hiring Americans again - something that means a lot to me.

Dell UltraSharp 2005FPW, but self-built system that's getting a little long in the tooth.

Dell Inspiron 700m laptop.

My Dell 4700 recently crashed, so I won't be online as much until I fix it or build my own rig.

Dell PCs eat the ass outa a dead camel...

if I wanted a PC with the absolute worst/cheapest componants in the world then yes.. Id buy a Dell..

they are bassically disposable PCs.. every year spend 500 bucks on a new one.. since you cant upgrade sh!t on them..

and thier high end workstations/game boxes are a joke..
way over priced and poor quality.

Use a Dell at work. Would never use one at home. I need at my sh*t and Dell is like the Hyundai of computers.

If you ask in the LCD and/or Laptop categories the numbers are likely pretty high.

Desktops, not too many. I'm surprised by the current number, frankly.
