Try a Baby Black store......., :p.

What's your waste size? These brands usually dont go under 34 waist, kinna hard to imagine a 12 year old sized person wearing hip-hop clothing.

Um most of those aren't underground.

Marc Ecko has been around forever and is at the forefront of both skating and hiphop culture.

Stussy and Mossimo have been well above ground for at least a decade or more.

Paul Frank and his stupid sock monkey have been featured in every mall boutique for the last 3 years.

Chances are, if it's sold retail nationwide, it's not underground.

I guess Mossimo wouldn't be too underground, but it's all good...

So is a Globe rep gonna flow you some stuff? Most of the skate brands(see NOTFRED's post) will consist of 99% silkscreened t-shirts
with company logos and pro rider's graphics. With as popular as skating has gotten in the last few year they are all common/recognizable enough. Ecko has a line for the fairer sex called Ecko Red, I like the style of their stuff.

None of these are underground. Half of them are highly popular skate brands.

True enough that they are well known among people familiar with the scene, but also remeber that among the brands listed none of the skate brands advertise in anything but skate related magazines and videos. No television adds, no distribution in department stores. It's all where you are coming from and familiar with. Nothing is truly "underground", it's all just niche marketing and appealing to your pool of consumers.

Lifted Research Group (L-R-G) - Quality is above superb and they promote positive messages.
Triple Five Soul - more of a mainstream label now, but they have quality clothing also
True- average quality, positive messages.
My personal favorite is Alphanumeric - I swear I am a walking billboard for them, excellent quality and positive messages.
Drunknmunky - Excellent quality, I don't care for the raised lettering too much (if you see most of their tshirts you'll know what I am talking about), cool looking designs nonetheless.

Others are Zoo York, Soul Rebel, Milkcrate Athletics, Mixwell...etc..

Here are a few links:
Digigrav
The Giant Peach

Here are a few skate store links I frequent:
A#
Actionvillage

take out your sewing machine and make your own label. Can't get anymore underground than that.

No sh!t.

Anyhoo, knowing me, I'd prolly use staples, duct tape and glue to "stitch" the fabrics together. ;)

Live in S. Cali, some of these underground brands are sold at Robinson May and most of the surf shops in Huntington Beach and Newport.
