6 computers, 2 routers (one as a wireless access point). And another couple of computers that are usually off so I guess they don't count. So 8 IPs assigned most of the time.

~7 computers, 1 router

If this place wasn't so small, I'd hook up the rest of my computers :(

lets see, my dsl modem has an IP, my wired router gets that IP and gives it to a wireless router...

then i have my iPaq with a wireless CF card, my PC, wife's PC, roomate's PC, server PC, HTPC, and at least 1 "being built or testing for someone" PC at all times... so 9?

I've scaled back quite a bit. Right now just my PC, my laptop, and my wifes PC have IP's. But I am hooked into my buddies house via a WAN link we setup using DLINK 900AP's and cantenna's AND share a broadband connection.

4. Lan/TV Out/Secondary Gaming Box ... 1 Local IP

Sparcserver 1 internal

Might get the broadband adapter for the PS2 but I don't think I will for the Gamecube, don't see any games worth it on that platform.

There are other reasons to get the BBA for the GC.

Just three right now, connected with two routers. My parents' computer downstairs on the router connected to the cable modem and my wireless router connected to the other router that has my laptop (wired right now) and my primary desktop. I've got my old machine but I have no place to hook it up right now so it's just sitting in the corner of my room.

Do they pay part of the bill.
If not I would give him the boot.

Let's see:

5 login machines
1 nfs server
1 backup server
4 dns servers
5 web servers
2 email servers
2 news servers
a few 3Com 3300 managed switches
2 Cisco 3620 routers
1 Portmaster PM-3
1 gateway/firewall computer
1 security machine
1 SFF media server
2 video editing machines
1 main desktop machine
1 machine mostly used for producing/duplicating DVDs
6 laptops currently in use (lots more that aren't being used at the moment)
and a few machines for testing purposes

I'm probably forgetting something, but that adds up to 38. Obviously I have lots of other gear that I'm not actively using that would have an IP if it were on, and right now none of the gigabit switches are managed, so they don't count.
