What's funny though is that if you would have asked how many software programs do people have on there computers that they got off the net via morpheus or warez or whatever,this topic would have been locked in a second and you would have been flamed by many people.

Why are you making such dubious assumptions? I rip my original CDs to a lossy format like MP3/MPC so I have instant access to them on my PC. Just because an .mp3 exists on a drive doesn't mean it's illegitimate.
