How many more terms could FDR have served?

Had he not died..I mean coming off the brink of the most valiant war efforts ever, and dragging a country out of the great depression, was there anyone that could've provided competition, and prevent him from winning 5, 6, maybe even 7 terms? Given also of course that the 22nd amendment wouldn't have been passed at the time..

He had already served 2 terms too many. FDR is given far too much credit for the things he did and now we are paying for it with a bloated government.

yeah, not to wish bad things on people, but he should have died sooner (since he wasn't leaving office any other way)

FDR was the right man for the time....That being said, I do think some of his social programs have contributed to the bloat of govt. we have today and that if he were to have continued in office the U.S. today would have a govt. much like that of Germany or France. Socialism would be out of control. Though I think Johnson and his Great Society was every bit as damaging, if not more so, than FDR's programs.

I don't know about that..no one came even CLOSE to beating FDR. I think in the last election the outcome was like 455 to 8 in the electoral college.

Because we'd be having elections every 6 damn months.

As it stands it takes candidates a year to camapaign and make all their lie..er...promises and defame the competition.
