So, when that's the case, you're bound to have people throw out some crazy ideas, like taxing healthcare benefits.

Just because Obama wants to hear from everyone doesn't mean any of this is going to pass - anyone who has a "Suggestion Box" at their place of employment knows that people make some outrageous suggestions, most of which are never implemented.

Personally, I have enough going on right now to keep my outrage meter pegged, can't spare any emotion currently on chasing phantoms, which is what the majority of this crap is.

Most of the examples you list were started by people in the Obama admin. They are not "rumours" IMO they are trial balloons floated by the admin to see what the response will be before they make an 'official' proposal. As I've posted elsewhere, Presidents don't like having their proposals fail to pass. This way they can get the feedback without looking bad.

I love all these pathetic hate Obama threads. They are just like early sessions with the mentally ill. We are all the mentally ill by the way. First you worry about aliens probing your ass and you deal with that a few months and slowly get into the trauma of having been forced to take an enema because you swallowed a tractor part. They you go berserk over that for a while till you can actually start to cry and feel sorry for yourself. Then you begin to heal, realizing that you had no idea what was going on cause you were just a little kid. Finally you can leave the doctor's office and see that Obama is actually quite mentally healthy and you yourself have become more liberal.

FYI, Obama writes most of his own speeches, and he's very hands on about editing their final form. A President who can read and understand the English language, at all, is a welcome change. :thumbsup:
