personal phone just 1

lg optimus v on virgin mobile with android 2.1 or 2.2 I forget.

Its a bit slow but it lasts a long time in standby on the battery and it fits into my pocket well. I just like something that can check email and run different apps and take basic pictures.

for work they give me a basic non smart phone.

you serious here....?

No problem I have him beat.
From left to right.
- 3GS 32gb. Had this for a while. I've lend this phone out to people more than once.
- 3GS 16gb. I bought this for $100 a few months ago to give to someone.
- Black IP4. This once belong to my wife. She took my SGII and gave me hers.
- White IP4. I've had this before white IP4 was available. (Not a real white IP4)
- ATT SG2. Bought this for $175. Plan to give this as a gift.
- HTC One S. My current phone. Love the size and speed of the phone. Wishing it had a 720p screen and I'm not thrill with the design.
- White SG3. Anniversary present for my wife.
- Blue SG3. Just bought this as a matching pair with my wife.
- HTD HD2. My first smartphone ever. I switched from Sprint to T-mobile just for the fact that T-mo got this phone

You need one when you don't have a land line and they're your only phones.

Who says you "need" any phone? If that was true, Alexander Graham Bell's parents would have died before he was born and eventually invented the phone.

What you meant to say was, you want a mobile phone if you want a phone and you do not have a land line.

Just one, super cheap, Nokia dual sim phone (Nokia 305)... don't like carrying 2 phones...

Might go for those cheap, local dual sim android phones rocking ICS... battery life sucks for them though.

i have 1 active phone. only reason i can see having 2 is if you have a seperate phone for work.

when i get a new phone the old one gets turned off and tossed in a bin/drawer to never be seen again

I carry two because I do a significant amount of typing on my phone, and I hate touch screens - for all its faults, the Bold 9900 has the best keyboard ever made on a cell phone. However, due to said faults, I carry something else to "fill the void" so to speak.

I'm ok with it.
