My old ford probe would get infinite gas mileage... I filled it up to full about once every two weeks, and I would drive back and forth to buford (40 miles there) about three times a week, go to school, and go to work. It was an amazing little car, 0-60 in 11 seconds, 114mph top speed (limited), and shocks that were rusted through. The outside and interior was in perfect shape though, and I loved that little car...

I've come close to hitting 400 in my 92 Miata on the highway. 11.9 gallon tank.

650 is the most I've gotten, but I'm always nervous after about 450-500 miles as that is when my gauge shows 'empty' (gauge is a little off).

2002 Honda Civic. I like to fill it at the 11 gallon point. I routinely get 28-31 mpg in the city. So that is 330 miles. On the highway I get 35-48 mpg depending on the speed I drive. My average is ~40 mpg on highway. Thus 440 miles on the highway.

I do these calculations with every tank I fill, and have an Excel sheet where I store it all. Too bad the wife doesn't record the milage, so it averages the details out on occasion when she fills up. AC is always on, so are some electronics.

I think the thing has a 12.6 gallon tank though. So I could get roughly 375/500 miles if I drove it to the last drop.

I just filled up. Got 316 miles. About 15.5 gallons. It's a 17.2 gallon tank. Poor mileage but it's almost all city :(.

About 450. I'll usually get more gas when the car gets around 400 though. The car gets about 35 miles to the gallon highway, and about 30 miles to the gallon city.

92 Civic: ~400 on a 12 gallon tank
01 Tundra: ~400 on a 21 gallon tank
93 Land Cruiser: ~300 in 19 gallons ... manual says its a 25 gallon tank, but when I filled it up it only took 19, so looks like 'E' isn't really 'E'

Pulled over 500+ last month coming across MO, KS and stopped just before Denver; on I70 staying just above the 75mph speed limit. No stops in Kansas.
