I have had asthma all my life.
Well, perhaps not, but it has always been very difficult for me to run. I would NOT get tired, but I could not breath at all! Not to mention my fear to have a heart attack.
Last summer I started walking 1 mile every night.
The next month I started running that same distance. Another month later I started running 2 miles.
Currently I am running 3 miles every night. I am not very fast, I spend 25-30 minutes, but what the hell!!, I am at least doing something.
I really feel happy about this.
Before I could not run at all and now I am actually doing something that I really enjoy
I don't know what should be my next goal, perhaps running 4 miles every night or perhaps trying to run a little bit faster...
How about you guys?
Anyone been in a similar situation?
