My first car which I still have is a 1980 mercedes 240D; dispite being slower than a Vanagon its managed 623,000 Miles, I win... well I would if I still used it for more than lending to friends. Other end of the spectrum 1980 AMC Eagle coupe 4x4, "only" 47,ooo miles and its prob the only one running west of the mississippi. This is what is really special, both cars are about 26 years old and look brand new when your not within 6 inches of them.... and the Diesel dosent smoke at all(and it didnt when I replaced the engine at 500k!). I dont bother selling cars unless I'm sure I can get more than $3000 for them, the Eagle is actualy worth alot more, but the 240D doubles its worth when i fill up the tank.
Current car is a 2004 Tuscani(tiburon 6-speed =P).. 39k, I wouldnt be proud of it cept the fact people mistake it for a sports exotic (Dont ask me why, I dont think its THAT pretty)
