Maybe I have the "wrong stuff" but... If you're sitting in the lander but you're the guy not scheduled to get to walk. Wouldn't you be like "screw this, I'm going outside, I didn't come all this way to hang out in the locker room." I would have beaten the other guy to death with the golf club to get the chance to go for a moonwalk.
