4. But I got the job of the first interview - and it was the job that I wanted the most out of all of them.

3. First place jerked me around and practically had me hired, then the original manager said "No I don't want another person after all". Second place sent me a fvvkin post card saying I didn't get the job. Third place hired me.

Fourth place hired me on the spot :) Much happier working retail and sitting on my arse all day playing old school games than I was at my last job.

1st place - thought i aced the interview. Said they would call... they never did

2nd place - Aced everything. Great interveiw but the main programmer ragged me for not writing an optimal scalable fragment (Even though it never asked for a optimization). My implementation worked flawlessly but it was not elegant.

3rd place - Walked in just talked asked questions and boom nice offer.

2. I got the job from the first interview, it was the one I wanted. The second was backup, which, interestingly enough, I did not get. That made the decision to take the first job that I really wanted much easier.

Then

Don't apply if you don't want it.
;)

-edit- what I'm really saying is I interviewed once for the jobs I wanted and countless other times for the ones I didn't (just to get experience...never a bad idea) so I'm kinda fibbing.

My current job landed in my lap. My former German professor recommended me for the position. They called me up, interviewed me for like 20 minutes, and had me working that day.

I was lucky to have such a quick and painless experience.
