That's really gotta hurt. I'm surprised you can handle it all. I would think that the logistics with getting stuck by 24" would outweigh any potential pleasurable effects.

And you know that because you've been hit by 12" and it was very pleasurable?

For everyday measurements, centimeters are garbage. Do you know how tall 160cm is? I have no idea, other than it is 1.6 meter sticks.

Inches provide enough information without going into too small of a measurement.

Then maybe you should take the time to learn the metric system. 🙂

Anyways...none right now, but it's on the way. We are expecting 20-30cm (8"-12") and someplaces upwards of 40cm (16")

we were also just issued a Blizzard Warning....first one since March of 1993

Every once in a while we get a 12 incher. The kids sure like it when one of those comes along. The problem is if you play with it too much it gets hard, you get wet, and then it goes away.

...and leaves a mess behind.

when you grow up with the metric system, you are quite familiar with centimeters. In fact, they use it as often as inches. It's on the birth certificate, your height is often given in centimeters, etc.

it's just as common and understandable to a person who grow up with it as is a person who grew up with inches.

..and it makes much more sense.

Well, if you're already wet it's not a problem and ... it never really goes away now does it 🙂

I just trudged through the wooded area of our property the other day to go get my shovel & axe that were left out there. The snow I walked through was 3 feet deep. Not sure if it's "drifted" like that or not. In the field where wind is more free to blow snow away, the snow was about 14-16" the other day.

I can see gravel in my driveway. But the walkout part of the basement is mid thigh with another foot+ yet to fall tonight.

5" according to FOX-Chicago. 🙁 Tried to plow my 100'x25' driveway but the winds blowing the snow felt like sand to my face.

It was freaking colder than bull's balls today. High only hit 54F and the wind was howling. Last week I was hiking in shorts and then this happens. 😡

No ppt today and there was a thin crescent moon at sunrise.
