Ideally 8-10. On weekends I get about 9-10 and on weeknights I get 7-8. My life is so much better since i stopped being chronically underslept.

Just wait until little Skoorbette gets here!

Right now, I am sleeping as much as possible to hurry and grow this baby so she will get out! PLUS, I know once she gets here, sleep will be a luxury I won't have!

Need: 8
Get: 5

What I do is, I get no sleep most of the week, but one night, invariably, I get home and collapse from exhaustion. Then I get LOTS of sleep. The next day is always my most productive of the week.

It totally depends on the circumstances.

When I do the go to work, go to sleep, go to work, go to sleep... routine it doesn't matter how much sleep I get, I don't feel completely rested when I get up. I usually get 7-8 hours and wake up without the alarm at 8AM, but it doesn't matter.

When I go hiking, I sleep on the ground, usually get about 8 hours of restless sleep (read 3 hours of actual sleep), get up at 4:30-5:00AM and feel the best I ever feel in the morning. I'm pretty sure it has to do with actually doing something physical during my day.

It's weird.

5hrs 6 days a week, 7hrs 1 day a week. It works, but I am useless around 2 in the afternoon until my "second wind" kicks in.

when I am not training about 4-5

when I am about 6.

I used to sleep 11am to 2/3pm while in college...if I slept until 3pm or more I'd usually be fresh...1 or 2pm and I'd be a little wrecked sometimes until night time.
