Please pleaes..do not talk about sleep.

Neuroscience exam on Friday and I am getting my behind whooped..and needless to say we can all ask ourselves, "what is sleep?" We are studying about it...the circadiam rythm, the suprachiasmatic nucleus, a bunch of other stuff. But I can say for sure none of us are getting enough sleep.

I think something is really wrong with an educational system that tells us what is wrong with our bodies and we should do to make it better but is designed that we will all die from stress, anxiety, and LACK OF SLEEP!!!!!

I usually can't do many nights in a row under four hours before I am in a zombie state and start drifting off at work or while watching t.v. at night or even nodding off at the computer at home. That's when I know it's time to get some rest.

That is the story of my life.

To function properly I require good sleep, not necessarily a lot of it. I can have 2 hours and be fine, if it was good, solid sleep. Today I went to bed at 5:30 AM or so, and my eyes opened at 10. But I was having such a good sleep that I napped for 2 more hours.

If I'm getting mediocre sleep, it's about 10 hours before I'm good to go.
