I tend to get about 5.5 on weeknights and I'm pretty ok.

I'm not quite all there if I get less than 4.

I manage to get an average of ~7 unless there's a basketball game on in which case maybe 6-5.

9 hours of sleep will allow me to immediatly wake up in the morning and not yawn until I go to bed. So thats what I shoot for.

I've 'bout got it to a science.

I need 9 solid (NOT WAKING IN THE NIGHT) hours to be 100% the next day.
8 hours is about 90%.

Under 8 stuff gets bad...2-3 is the least I can function on for an entire week (as in, 2-3 hours sleep per night, each day of the week)

I usually get about 6 during the week, 8-9 on the weekends.

College students love to brag about how little sleep they get for some reason... it's really stupid.

Since my summer holidays, about 3-4. I go to bed at about 2.30 am usually and get up at about 8.30 (to watch stargate SG1, DON'T LAUGH). Sometimes I go to sleep for about 2 hours during the day too.

I need about 5 to honestly function properly & pay attention in classes the next day.

But it's SO hard when your roomie offers up a game of FIFA at midnight, and before you know it's 3am....

I prefer 8. I function well on 8.

However, there's been times with the military where sleep wasn't really an option. Actually, it wasn't allowed. So, I can function on 1, for a absolute maximum of 5 days.

Anything from 2-6 hours during the week, and I try to get at least 10 hours a night over the weekend. I -really- should try a lot harder to get assignments done before the morning they're due. I'm sure my body would love me for it.

I used to think about 5 or so, but this morning someone kept calling the house every 2-3 minutes, so now I guess I can get by with 4.
