How many hours do you work in a week?

I just realized I work almost 80 hours a week. It sucks having a salary paying job. I think I need to let the upper management now that I can't work so many hours.

So, how many hours in a week do you work?

That does suck. Until my luck runs out I'm paid for 8-5 (hour off for lunch) and basically I can pick my OT hours which pay almost twice my regular hourly wage. I'm the only guy I know of my friends in software who gets paid for OT!

Even when I had Hourly contracts, I never got paid more than normal time for OT. YOu lucky SOB

i try and hit my quota of 37.5 hours a week..
being on contract is good..

you goverment employees!

I work around 40, unless there is a problem, or ungrades need to be done off hours, then it can go to 50, with OT, of course.

I was getting every other friday off too, as long as you put in 80 hours every two weeks you're set, it dosen't matter how many days you do it in. But they temporarily suspended that because of this whole mess. That's the downside of govt., in wartime you work your ass off I'm told. I'm done here in 2 weeks anyway though.

Ha! not 'till december 2002. I'm only a senior 1, but I'm not even really supposed to graduate until june '03, i'm way ahead of schedule.

Right now I took every Monday off for the rest of the year to finish up using all my vacation, Then I work tues - thurs 8:30 - 4:00 with a 2 hour lunch, then friday is 8:30 - 3 or sometimes earlier
