how many hours do you sleep per night

i actually sleep about 7 hrs and still have some trouble waking up sometimes but I would ideally want to be completly refreshed in 6 hrs.
 
If I sleep below 7 hours, I look like a living corpse when I walk around the campus.

I prefer 10-11 hours of sleep.
 
I used to really struggle when i didn't get enough sleep (sleep<8) but now I can make it a day or so on 3-4 hours... but I need to recoupe within the next 2 days.

I probably average 6-7, In Highschool I averaged 9-10. I have terrible bags under my eyes either way 🙁
 
Sleep around 7, would like 9. Your question/response is kind of odd though. I guess I'd like to only sleep 6-7 if I could. I wouldn't be surprised if I had sleep apnea or some other sleeping disorder...never really get a good night's rest. Sucky bed, and I think I have a deviated septum - if I were forced to breathe only out of my right nostril I'd suffocate.

how do you do it...get on with just 4-5 hrs of sleep. i would like to need 6 hrs of sleep to be completly good to go and be able to squeeze out 4 or 5 and be allrite...i can do 4 hrs of sleep but not very often, just like the day before an exam if i have to wake up to study before the test.


i'm asking this because i have a sh1tload of work to do, but i always end up spending some time chillin and wasting away...so i feel that it is best if i can take some hours i 'waste' sleeping and use it to make up for that waste time.
 
I think there's something wrong with me...I could lay in bed all day, drifting in and out of sleep. that can't be good.
 
Hard to say. I've trained my body to get to business as soon as I go to bed??? I'm a very cheery person and that helps. Even if you feel tired, act chipper and you'll eventually believe it yourself!
 
I sleep roughly 3-4 hours per day..weekends 5.

Part of my trouble is that from my years in the army got me used to sleeping less if not at all, and really set my internal clock for around 5-6am. I sleep around now (2am), and wake up around 6 (son wakes up). Plus the added stress of school and work and the constant barrage of studying needed to be done, I barely find time to sleep on weekends either. Damn I need a vacation bad!
 
Rofl, I really wnated to vote "sleeping is my new hobby" 🙂 That option rocks! But instead I gave legit answers, I aim for 8, I get anywhere from 6-8. I deffinitely, 100% feel better when I get a consistent 8 hours of sleep a night.
