How many hours a week do you work?

I was averaging 55-60 hours a week up to a few days ago, but I?m now bringing that down to about 50 tops.

I give myself a 20 minute lunch break each day.

You?

40 hours every week, but once in a while I'll do a bit of over-time which will give me 50 hours or more in a week. I don't do this continually though.

Usually 8-8.5 hour days depending on how long I take lunch.

One week I worked 9-10 hours a day when we were moving into a new section of the office. That was my first week here. We're doing it again in a month or so. I predict similar work hours then.

I'll probably bill something like 2100 - 2200 hours this year - whatever that translates to (not all my time in the office is billed, and not all my time billing is in the office).

34/week here. Off Sat, Sun, and Mon.

Minumum 41 every week, usually 45+.

And yes, the minimum will always be 41 because after our CEO mandated a company wide freeze on pay increases this year, our district manager instructed us to bill an extra hour on our time card every week since we are supposed to submit them on Sunday, outside normal working hours.

If you do the math, 1 extra hour of overtime every week translates to like a 3% pay increase. Better than nothing.

37.5 hour work week but lately I've been getting oodles of overtime. For the month of October I'll be getting about 58 hours a week, mostly 1.5x or 2.0x overtime.

Hmm, let's calculate:

M-T: 7:00AM 5:30PM (10.5 x 4 = 42)
F: 7:00AM - 4:30PM (9.5 x 1 = 9.5)
S &/or S: 10:00AM - 6:30PM (8.5 x 1 = 8.5)

Total: 60 hours on average.

50-60 hrs. a week average for me. Occasionally up to 80!
I'm salaried, too!

But it's nice between projects when I get to sit home for weeks at a time and the paycheck keeps coming every week!

Lucky ah heck.

I'm on a daily rate. My contract dictates 7.5 hours a day, but my actuals are 10 hours a day minimum.

I work a weird schedule, two days one week and five the next. So 24 hours one week and 60 the next for an average of 42. Sounds weird but works really well as every other weekend is a three day weekend.

I'm in the office from 7:30-4:00. I take anywhere from 10 minutes (eat at my desk) to an hour (go somewhere) for lunch. So roughly 40 hours.

edit: my last job I was only in the office about 6-7 hours a day, it was nice. Except that I was on call 24 hours/day every 3 weeks (and got paged regularly, in the middle of the night), and even when I wasn't on call, I was usually doing an hour or two of work from home every night.

I'm in the office more now, but I work less.

Back when I was a Big 4 auditor it was 60+ (easily 90+ during year end audits of large clients). Now, out in industry, hours are much more manageable at 35-40.

scheduled for 40 hours/week, I probably average 38-42.

I usually come in 15-30 minutes late and stay 30-60 minutes late unless it's really slow and there's nothing to do.
