How many here have a christmas cactus?

I have one that is quite big and has white flowers and red flowers. It looks very pretty and is easy to grow. Infact it may be potbound. Its about a foot tall and nearly 2 feet across. It has been flowering nonstop since the middle of November.

Last spring my friend's cat got at it and did some serious damage too it. About half was ripped apart. During the summer here it grew like crazy and all the damage was replaced and it looks bigger than before.

These are my favourite christmas plants.

Maybe I should give away some cuttings?

Yes...I believe it's because they normally only flower about this time of year. My wife has 2 BTW and both have sort of a magenta colored flower. Real pretty.

Yup, but they are not cactus. They are succulents.
