How many here are enjoying this years new crop of fall apples?

I am! Wayne County NY is near, and apparently pretty famous for its apples. So i drove down like 2 weeks ago, picked up some up, and I agree that they are some sweet, delcious apples.

honey crisps are fairly new to my region...
crispy sweet and juicy.... best apple ever.

Those are awesome! I've been on a Cascade red pear kick lately, farmers market has all sorts of treats.

The Fuji's are fantastic!
I literally eat 2 per day.
I went into he local Whole Foods and they were telling me the Honey Crisps are better than Fujis. I was skeptical, but bought one.
Not as good as Fuji.

Are the fuji's good right now? A few months ago they were CRAP, no taste at all. I ended up switching to braeburns.

I got a bag of apples from a local orchard a little while ago and am happily nibbling on them and making baked apples too! MMmmm!

go for the organic ones.. they are even sweeter.. like a candy apple or something.. seriously i will never go back.. organic is the way to go
