I broke up with the gf 2 months ago and I now have this huge apartment to myself. It's absolutely amazing and I don't want to get tied down again for a long time.

Anywho, how many other guys here live by themselves? Just wondering if it's normal, or if I"m a freak.
 
I do. I don't see anything bad about it, I think if most people had the option they would want to live alone (except those with families).
 
well yeah that's cool, I've never actually lived by myself before we broke up. I just think it's cool that you can, like, have sex with 2 women at the same time and NOBODY is any the wiser. Gotta love bachelor life 🙂

As I mentioned, I have 3 rooms that I hardly ever enter. Quite a shock to walk in and see the spider webs and dust.
 
Yep, just me and the computers out here. Can do whatever I want without worrying about bothering someone else.
 
Same here in a 2-bedroom condo. I find myself using only about 1/3 of the livable space. I can't remember the last time I ate on my dining table...

Sometimes, the lack of another person gets to me but I just think back to bad roommate experiences and realize I've got the lesser of two evils...

Yup.

Of course, friends are just a phonecall and a short drive away but that would require putting on pants which kills the urge pretty quick...
 
I almost live alone 😉

I have a roommate, but we almost never see eachother... I work 4 pm - 12 am, and he works 12 am - 8 am. we also have different days off (he's off on Thursday/Friday and almost always spends the entire weekend with his girlfriend, who lives an hour away, and I'm off on Monday/Tuesday). I've thought about living alone, but decided against it. it'd be nice to have the extra space, but only having to pay half the rent/utility bills rocks 🙂 I'd be broke right now otherwise.
