But the benefit of having zero gods is that it'll hold true for every generation. If you have one specific god today some kids will be playing Dungeons and Dragons with it down the road. All the gods people used to worship are nothing but mythology now and that's where the current crop of gods is heading. I wonder how many hit points your god will have when the D&D 20th generation rules incorporate him.
 
A lot! And all of them are right, they run around all the planes of existance and duke it out for the favor of people down here on the good ole material plane.
