How many girls like to go camping?

I used to take my ex tent camping all the time. She didn't know how comfortable it was to sleep on the ground until I showed her how do dig a butt hole. We used to spend summers living in a tent. I have a Class A motor home, but she preferred tenting it.

Butt Hole Instructions:

Scoop out some dirt or sand underneath the tent where your hips/butt will fit. That will make your body fit the ground and you will sleep comfortably.

I wish more girls I knew liked camping. It really depends on location. Much higher chance in places like ski towns or even out west in general. I'm from the midwest (Ohio) and practically no one likes to camp. One of my fantasies is meeting my future SO on the trail 🙂

Pics of OP camping, naked?

Also Lola, lizardth, and just for the hell of it mosh.

I haven't been around very long, but I'm beginning to doubt that mosh is actually female.

She is. I remember this thread with a partial picture: http://forums.anandtech.com/me...did=1654423&arctab=arc

I remembered that thread because I have the same condition...

That picture proves nothing!

Not accusing moshquerade of being a man, I'm just saying I have seen men who paint their toenails and wear women's sandals.

Some girls I know do go camping and love it. One is freakishly afraid of bugs, and the last time I was in a forest two weeks ago, the forest floor was crawling with ants, spiders and everything with more than 4 legs. Guess they got some nice clearings.

Other ones just don't go or never been. Never asked if they hated it or not.

My ex and I met camping but since her I haven't met many women who actually like it. The wife will go for a day hike and thats about it. Took her on a 2 day hike once but she hated actually camping.

In my mind it isn't really worth camping if you can get there any other way than on your own power. Hike or canoe. If you can get there by car then too many others there to ruin it. The best is Algonquin provincial park in Canada, i think ontario. Canoe in then portage (carry the canoe and gear) back into the interior for few days then your in unspoiled nature. You can drink out of the lake and its clean and clear. No people but those you brought along. Sure you may pass other like minded nuts but thats rare. And on more than one occasion they were unclothed. A little more free than I wanted to be.

I don't really need help pitching my tent. The Sierra Designs Meteor Lite can be set up in less than 60 seconds.

Dude, you have a really weird name for your schlong 😕

I got lucky. My wife's parents were outdoorsy types and my wife grew up with a love for the great out-of-doors.
When we were (much) younger, we went camping every chance we got...every 3 day weekend until the snow, vacations, etc. With kids, it was always "truck camping" where we could drive to our campsites, but we still managed to hit very out of the way locations where the nearest town might have been 30 or more miles away.

Nowadays, camping means a crappy motel like Travelodge or Holiday Inn with only a continental breakfast instead of a full-service restaurant on site...

I don't think that my wife has ever been camping and I don't think she ever will. I don't necessarily like it, but its ok.

My family set out for a hiking/camping trip once. When we got to the mountain it was raining out. All the male family members hiked up to the first camp site and setup camp anyway. The girls promised to come in the morning and drove off to some restaurant in town and then a motel or something. We cooked tons of pancakes the next morning expecting them, but they went shopping at the local tourist traps instead and never showed up.

Well, I don't really know too many personally, but I don't think the girls that I know well have ever mentioned it or not. But I do see quite a few girls doing online dating that list outdoorsy stuff ( camping sometimes among them ) as their interests. But that doesn't really tell me if their idea of camping is sleeping on dirt or in a Winnebago.

*puts on flame suit*
I think a lot of girls just say certain things to impress males. Just being honest from my past expereinces. If you really do love camping, great, but don't do it just to bring attention from the opposite sex.
Same goes for males and comments they make about certain things, just to get a rise out of females.
*takes off hoodie, unzips and steps out of flame suit*

<leaving now>

I think it's pretty hard to flame a sex goddess. (and I would agree)

the blood..it attracts the bears😉

anyways theres a difference between "camping" where your car is maybe a couple yards away from the site and real camping.

There are no girls on ATOT.

Also.... most of the girls I know love to camp. I can only think of a few that don't. But then again.... the girls I know ski/snowboard, climb, hike and are generally pretty active. The benefits of living in a ski community I guess.

ahh come on, it will be like brokeback mountain.
