I was just curious what people fold and how much of it.

Me:
5GHz of Core 2 Duo
1 x1900
5GHz of P4
and as of today 9GHz of Pentium D

2 * 2.2GHz (one Athlon X2)
1 * 1.4GHz (one Athlon XP)

I'm debating whether it would be safe or not to fold with my new MacBook Pro (2.33 GHz Core 2 Duo). It doesn't seem worth the hassle of having a constantly burning hot notebook with fans running at full speed, not to mention the necessity of disabling the client every time I want to work on battery power.

  • PIII-600 @ 612
  • Athlon XP 2000
  • Athlon XP 2500 @ 3200
  • P4, 2,8 HT
  • Athlon X2 3800 @ 4200

Overall: 11.679 GHz of Power (P4 HT counted as one CPU)

Hi,

I don't fold (not yet anyway - considering a graphics card to do that) but my overall BOINC contribution is in my signature.

Core Duo @ 2.16 ghz
Athlon xp 2800 1.6 ghz
Athlon xp 3500 2.2 ghz

So 8.12 counting all cores. Whenever I get back to the states I'll probably be building two quad core machines to replace the two athlons. (January) Should triple my crunching power.

7GHZ.
1- 3GHZ Pentium 4 HT.
1 1.6GHZ Pentium M.
1 2.4GHZ AMD Athlon X2 CPU.

I usually don't run all of them at the same time, usually only the X2 rig.

It is an addiction for sure. We need to start a DC Anonymous. The first step is admitting the problem.

Intel Q6600 Quad core @2.4 x4
Amd X2 4200+ @2.2 x2
A64 1800+ @ 2.3
3 A64 1800+ @ 2.0

I might still have a random P4 @ 3.2 still folding at one of my friends houses...

Core Duo T2500 (2 * 2 GHz)
Pentium III Coppermine (1 GHz)

So 5 total. Mostly on R@H, Nano-hive, LHC when there's work. Since Nano-hive is on hiatus I downloaded a CPDN wu to crunch.

Right now about 25 ghz. Capable ? about 54 ghz (counting all cores)
3x6300 C2D @ 3.5 = 9.5 * 2 = 19 ghz
2x 6400 C2D @ 3.5 = 7 * 2 = 14 ghz
E4300 C2D @ 3.0 =3 = 3 ghz
Opteron 170 @ 2.5 =2.5 = 5 ghz
X2 4400 @ 2.5 = 2.5 = 5 ghz
Opteron 248 @ 2.2 = 4.4 ghz
Athlon64 @ 3.4 = 3.4 ghz
X2 3800 @ 2 ghz = 4 ghz

Too much math....Did I get it right ? (too many beers at this hour,,,)

Edit: forgot my box at work that I don't own... 2.66 ghz P4 piece of crap...

About $200 in the winter when they are all running. I have to turn 2/3rds of them off the rest of the year, as the AC can't keep up regardless of the electric bill. I only have 2 1/2 ton AC.
