Uhm, the R4 isn't supported by Nintendo.
OP, I believe you have to look for non-microSDHC cards, but one of the firmwares was supposed to update and allow SDHC.
Q: How many files can I have on the R4?
A: R4 Adapter supports 128MB~4GB TF(MicroSD) card , 4GB=32Gbit

You clearly haven't heard of my "Super Monk Adventures" game where 1 of the 7 mini games requires you to copy a bible by hand, cover to cover, and grades you on your accuracy and speed in "Heaven bucks" when you finish.
