My current system specs are :

DELL OPTIPLEX GX1 (p3 450MHZ, 128RAM, ATI RAGE PRO 8M AGP 2speed)

I plan to install a new ATI RADEON 32SDR PCI card in my PCI slot (I can't get AGP since I have an integrated AGP slot on my m/board)

How many fps boost will I notice with this upgrade over my ATI RAGE PRO?

really hard to say, since no pci cards are ever benchmarked. It'll be a lot better, but don't expect miracles, after you have a dell to start with.

Well, I would expect a lot. like 2-3 times, but Your CPU is not a monster either, so, in some games there will be improvement, in some not.
I had a celeron 366 and a Banshee card, then upgraded to Voodoo5, not much changed - in some games Yes, a lot, but in most not. Then changed my CPU to 800 MHz P3 - that was a difference ! Everything was much faster.

Rage Pro -> Radeon, yes you will notice a difference. As stated by others, a cpu upgrade in conjunction with the Radeon will give an even bigger boost. I'll assume though, that you can't do both, so I say get the Radeon.

I'd say you'll probably be lucky if you manage a 50% speed increase. Your CPU is really slow.

Very noticable boost, especially since the Radeon has better support for OpenGL and D3D. You probably get 22fps QIII timedemo 1 640x480 normal. you ought to be able to do at least that in 800x600, maybe a tad more.
