I posted this a while ago but thought it would be a good link to include here. This is a watermelon I shot and captured on video. I shot it at about 50 yards with the .300 Win Mag rifle. This is a still captured from the video itself. The camcorder was setup on a tripod about 20 yards from the watermelon. I have a link to the vid if anyone wants it I'll try to dig it up.

I second that thought as well. Even though I do hunt bird, deer, elks. I only hunt for food and I perfer this due to the fact that I won't get one everytime, I might will not even see any game for me to shoot at so i go home empty handed.

Although, now I'm currently switching from hunting to long range shooting sport using my .22-250 Savage Varmit 112BSSV Bolt Action Rifle. Aha I'll be posting in pictures shortly enough.

i think you'll have to go used for the p228. from what i recall, that model has gone military/law enforcement only. i had one for a while - one of the best 9mm i've ever shot. you can get the p229 which is just as good and is available for general sale.

I only personally own a 12 gauge shotgun, but my dad owns about 20 rifles, some muzzleloaders, and even has an elephant gun...not sure on what the specifics are on an elephant gun though, and I've never seen it been shot.

I'd like to get a Mateba Unica 6 or a Sig p226 sometime though
