I type exactly as i learned how way back in typing class in HS. My problem is i forgot how to spell certain words over the years. Like exercise is my most common misspell, i type it as excersice or exsercise. Seems retarded but i spell better when i write it out. I don't bother to spell correct for you guys half the time nor do i care about proper grammar or using semi colons in correct places.
I don't even know too many people who speak correct grammar, yet are grammar nazi's. Kills me everytime.

I joke that typing is one of the few skills I learned in High School that I use everyday.

ASDF... JKL;... ASDF... JKL;... Still remember those drills.

I never was very accurate using the upper row numerical keys, nor do I have formal training on number pad, but I do OK.

Like this but imagine it pounding a keyboard:

I use something approximately along the lines of home row, except that my hands ike to overlap each others' typing field with each spelled word when I type faster than 70 WPM.

I learned to type in 8th grade. That was when schools actually taught things you could use in life.

You're telling me that you control the entire alphabet and most other common characters with just two fingers?

Yeah. It took some random typing/analyzing to even figure out exactly what the fuck I did; but that's it.

Also, I just figured out that when I'm using shift, the left finger comes over another row. That bitch be a magic finger. Fings like crazy.

The shareware program Stamina Typing Tutor is great for learning high speed touch typing and you don't have to pay unless you feel it's helped you and they've earned it, then you can go to help, donate and send them some money.

Im legally blind, so I basically memorized where all the keys are and have typed entire papers without looking at the keyboard. I dont do any of the above mentioned methods.

I generally just use one finger, the right index. I hold it in the air and flex the the second joint to summon someone to come and type for me.

Stamina shows you a keyboard map onscreen so you don't have to look at the keyboard and you just do the drills and practice, practice, practice and it becomes natural to you just like playing a musical instrument.

I use all the fingers on my left hand except for my thumb. I use all the fingers on my right hand too. Mostly home row, though I angle my right hand a bit, so that the thumb hovers over the spcae and the pinkie activates the backspace.

I use a dvorak keyboard, and type generally at an acceptable level.
