Good gawd. I wish I hadn't counted.

one 80mm 2300 rpm PSU out fan
one 80mm Toyo 4k rpm out fan
one 120mm Toyo intake rpm adjustable
one golden orb on geforce ddr
2 on intel slot1 stock HSF

6 total

My computer is only 52 decibels loud when I am 3 inches from the case... not extremely loud 🙂

Made a mistake. Voted for 3, but have 4 fans total.

I used to have 2 80mm fans, one up front and one in back. I then modified the case and switched to one 120 in back. It is noticeably quieter now and runs just as cool.

That's in addition to the 80mm on the PSU, a 60 mm CPU fan and a baby one on the northbridge.

Whoops, I just voted for 3 and then I realised I had forgotten about my power supply fan which means I have 4 fans.

1x video card, 1x CPU, 1x case/system, 1x power supply.

heh I voted 3 cous now I have 3 (not taking internal northbridge and CPU cooler or the 92 mm enermax internal)

but I'm getting 8 fans in my next rig :
2x 120
1x 92
5x 80

for some nice 130 cfm (not much I know, but they are pabst I can acquire cheaply 😀 so it'll be nice and silent)

80mm CPU fan

2x 80mm intakes

2x 80mm exhausts

PSU fan

That'd make 6, but currently I only use one intake & one exhaust..

- 1 X 80MM Delta 80CFM ( rheostat ) cpu
- 6 X 80MM Panaflo 39CFM
- 2 x 92MM Panaflo 56CFM
- 2 X 120MM Panaflo 103CFM
- 2 fans on Enermax PSU
- 3 X crystal orb fans
- 1 X thermaltake active memory cooling fans
- 2 X 40mm sunon fans lian-li mobile racks ( rh-600 ), have 3 X lianli rh-600 racks.. so total is 6 fans for racks 🙂

total: 23 fans 🙂

2 - Panaflo 80mm L1A's in front
2 - Panaflo 80mm L1A's in back
1 - 70mm stock Intel fan on HSF (P4 1.8A)
2 - Enermax 465 PSU fans, 1 80mm, 1 92mm.
2 - 40mm fans on my 2 HDD mobile racks
1 - 40mm fan on back of Plextor SCSI burner

Antec SX10x0 case.

That's it, no video card or chipset fan.

This box is VERY quiet. That's why I built it. I was tired of my noisey Tbird rig.

4 case fans - 2 intake/HDD fans in the front -2 blowing out the back.
1 PSU fan
1 VC fan

6 fans

Damn, I can't believe I forgot my CPU fan 😱

8 fans for me

4 case (two intake on hard drive rack, one exhaust on back, one on top)
2 PSU fans
1 CPU fan
1 Videocard fan

My friend had a system with so many powerful fans that he couldn't boot unless he unplugged his fans. (he needed a better PS)

All the fans in my system are overkill. All I need are fans on the PSU, CPU, GPU, and hard drive.

My file server would have no fans if it were not for the PS. 🙂

9 fans right now, counting the ps, and my case has never been quieter, I mean really, really quiet after I insulated.

PS - PC P&C Silencer 400
Case fans - 4 PC P&C 80mm
CPU - Silverado hsf with two low rpm Nidec blower fans
Fan on ATI 8500
Fan on mb

I have one fan in the PSU and one on the processor. Probably I would do well to get more fans, but right now my processor temp on the Duron 800mhz is around 43C, and the case temp is about 23C, so I'm not too worried about it.

8 fans total

80mm front exaust
80mm rear exaust
120mm top blowhole exaust
92mm PSU intake
80mm PSU exaust
70mm CPU fan
40mm moboard chipset fan
50mm crystal orb GPU fan

i also have (2) 120mm "holes" in my side panel with grilles.
all the exaust fans suck so much air thru them that i dont need to actually put fans there 😉

120mm front intake, 2 40mm to cool hard drives, 2 80mm exhaust. I didn't include my PSU in the fan count, but it has 2 fans in it if you really want to know.

Well, I just got my 4 new Sunon 80mm fans I mentioned(51CFM).......I put them in, fired up the PC.....and WHOLY SH!T!!!!!!These dude more some serious air, but man they are loud! I never thought they'd be quite this loud. I realy need to finish the POT hookup so I can slow them down a bit during idle times or while just surfing.

Case temp if at 75F, room temp is 72F. P4@2.5 idle at 28C...Not bad at all, but man it's loud. I can hear the air from the next room..lol

1x 40 mm GPU fan
1x 60 mm CPU fan
2x 80 mm case fan
1x 80 mm PSU fan

which makes a grand total of 5 fans!

I'm feeling a little inadequate here... 😱
