2 x 92mm - both CPUs
2 x 40mm - video
total = 21. No option for that on the poll.

:Q im speechless

2 x PSU (OCZ Powerstream - quiet)
4 x case fans (front intake, back exhaust, side intake, top exhaust) - all panaflo (quiet)
1 x videocard (ati 8500 - quiet)
1 x cpu (zalman - quiet)
1 x chipset (mobo - turned it off cuz after 6 months it dies on Abit IS7/IC7 boards)

Overall: 9 fans, fairly quiet.

You have to remember...the people who post on these boards are enthusiasts...most "normal" people could care less about adding any extra fans to their PC. I used to be all about trying to overclock the hell out of my systems but the older I get the more the noise from all the fans seem to bother me. 🙁 haha getting older and lazier I suppose

I have 4.
1 x GPU
1 x CPU
2 x PSU

7 total:
2x80mm intake
2x80mm exhaust
1x120mm cpu
1x120mm psu
1x70mm gpu

all intake/exhaust fan's 5 volted..system is virtually silent.

I did have 9: 4 case, VGA, Chipset, CPU, 2 PSU but was having problems with my 350W PSU.

Took 1 case fan off, and everything is working fine(so far), strange how that one fan was bringin my PSU down.

FULLMETAL, guy with the 21 fans, you try too hard, why dont u just leave your side panel open and buy a 3 foot fan from duane reade.

On my other rigg I have...
2 - 80 mm front intake fans..
1- side door fan..
1 upper top of case fan...
2 - 120 mm rear exhaust fans..
1- 120mm CPU fan..
1- video card fan
1 - 80 mm fan blowing air onto my memory
2- 80 mm fans blowing more air onto my video card..

Because my case is designed for storage. It comes stock with 10 case fans (8 x 92mm in two hot swappable sets & 2 x 120 exhaust). I don't have that many fans because I want it cooler. It's just how the case is. In fact, the side panel is off right now, until I complete a few mods.

because my comp is already running so loud.... I had to disconnect a couple fans from a power source, so now they are idle, I don't have to worry about overheating issues anyway, since the ones I disabled are just case mod fans, everything is cooled well enough.

2 front intake 80mm on case
1 side intake 80mm case
1 92mm side intake on CPU duct case
1 rear exhaust 120mm case
2 on power supply, not sure on size
1 80mm fan on CPU heatsink
1 on northbridge chipset
1 on video card
total of 10

2 x 120mm Case
1 x CPU fan
1 x Artic Silencer
1 x PSU fan
1 x Chipset (to be replaced with passive cooler)

Total = 6, soon to be 5

Idle Temps: CPU: ~28, GPU: ~29
Load Temps: CPU: ~42, GPU: ~46

once i get the stock CPU fan replaced with a zalman 9500 it should be almost silent😀

Lets see, My P4 in my Aspire case, I have 11
2x80mm intake
2x80mm exhaust
1x80mm top
1x80mm side
2 in psu
video card
northbridge
cpu

My pentium-D has 5
1x120mm intake
1x120mm exhaust
2 in PSU
northbrige

video card is passivly cooled 6200TC
cpu is water cooled, cause air wasn't enough.

My X2 has 6
1x120mm exhaust
2 in psu
northbridge
cpu
7800GT

My SFF pentium-M has 4
pci slot exhaust
cpu
psu
6600GT

total fans for all 4 rigs....26

All you guys that have so many fans, thats very bad air flow. It's to much negative pressure, less is better not more.

Mine seems to work well enough for me.
